New Praise Cathedral Worship Center was placed in the heart of Bishop Jockery C. Burrell the morning of September 16, 2008. While at work meditating, the Lord spoke to the man God (NPCWC) New Praise Cathedral Worship Center.
Five years later January 4, 2013 Bishop Burrell met with three people to discuss forming the church, two days later on the 6th he met with eleven more people to discuss in detail the importance of the Ministry then someone asked "Bishop we would like to have service next Sunday"It was then that the Man of God went on to say if you all are serious about having service let`s take up an offering with just twelve in number we raised Four Hundred Seventy Five Dollars($475). And at 1:30 pm NPCWC was established that following Sunday January 13, 2013 we held our first service.
New Praise Cathedral Worship Center held service in the Worcester Hotel now known today as the "Holiday Express" twenty seven people showed up to fellowship, we continued service at that location until Easter 2013. The Lord had move in such a way we had reached capacity for that location our services became standing room only, so we changed our location to the Worcester State University where we`re able to enjoy the Lord even more "NO BODY BUT GOD." It wasn`t until August 18, 2013 we had our 1st "Right hand of Fellowship 80 people joined our ministry not including the children.
Our purpose is to make Gods name GREAT and to continue sharing the uncompromised Gospel of Peace to All.
